Getting Started

Is Oru really free to start?: Yes! There are no upfront monthly fees or setup costs. Instead, we take a percentage of each paid job posting, so your success is our success. If you want more features, we offer Oru Pro at $49/board/month.
How long does it take to set up a job board?: Most users have their job board live in under 5 minutes. Sign up, name your board, add your logo, and you're ready to accept job postings.
Do I need technical skills?: No coding required! Everything is point-and-click. Upload your logo, pick your colors, and customize your copy through a simple dashboard.
Can I migrate from another job board platform?: Yes! You can bulk import jobs from a CSV or TXT file, or paste URLs from any careers page—Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or any job listing. Our AI extracts the job details automatically.

How do I get paid?: Payments go directly to your Stripe account. You'll need to connect Stripe (takes about 2 minutes), then payouts happen automatically on Stripe's schedule—typically daily or weekly depending on your country.
What payment methods are supported?: Job posters can pay with credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay. Stripe handles all payment processing securely.
What are the platform fees?: We take a percentage of each paid job posting based on your monthly revenue: 20% for $0-$1,000/month, 15% for $1,001-$5,000/month, and 10% for $5,001+/month. The more you earn, the lower your fees—automatically.
Can I offer free job postings?: Yes! You can set your posting price to $0 and run a completely free job board. You can also mix free and paid listings—for example, offering free basic posts and paid featured listings.

Can I use my own domain?: Custom domain support is coming soon! For now, you get a free subdomain like yourboard.oru.club.
Can I remove Oru branding?: Yes! Oru Pro ($49/board/month) includes white-labeling, so you can remove all "Powered by Oru" branding and make the board completely your own.
Can I customize the look and feel?: Absolutely. Upload your logo, choose your brand colors, and customize all the copy on your board. You can also customize the application form fields.

Can I import existing jobs?: Yes! Upload a CSV or TXT file with job URLs, or paste URLs directly from any careers page. Our AI will extract the title, company, description, and other details automatically.
How do embeds work?: Copy a simple code snippet and paste it into any website. The embed displays your latest jobs and updates automatically. Works with any website builder, CMS, or newsletter.
Is there an API?: Yes! We have a full REST API for programmatic access. Create, read, update, and delete job postings. Rate limits are 5,000 requests/day (free) or 50,000 requests/day (Pro).
What integrations are available?: RSS feeds, embed widgets, REST API, and webhooks are available now. Slack, Discord, Bluesky, and Mastodon integrations are coming soon.

What's included in Oru Pro?: Pro includes white-label branding, unlimited team members, advanced analytics with exports, traffic source tracking, organization-level API keys, higher API rate limits (50,000/day), and priority support.
How much is Pro?: $49 per board per month. If you run multiple job boards, each board requires its own Pro subscription.
Can I cancel anytime?: Yes, cancel anytime with no penalties. You'll keep Pro features until the end of your billing period, then gracefully downgrade to the free tier.
Is there a free trial of Pro?: Yes! Start a 30-day free trial of Pro with no credit card required. At the end of the trial, upgrade to keep Pro features or continue with the free tier.
Do Pro features affect my platform fees?: No. Pro subscription and revenue share are completely independent. Pro is about features (white-label, analytics, team members). Revenue share is purely based on your monthly earnings.
