Welcome to Oru. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Oru ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Oru provides a platform for creating and managing job boards. Our Service allows users to:

• Create branded job boards
• Accept job posting submissions
• Process payments through Stripe
• Customize board appearance and settings
• Access analytics and reporting

3. Account Terms

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Oru cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Distribute spam or unsolicited content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Post content that is discriminatory or promotes hate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Payment Terms

Platform Fees: We charge a percentage of job posting revenue based on monthly earnings (20% for $0-$1,000, 15% for $1,001-$5,000, 10% for $5,001+). These fees are deducted automatically through Stripe Connect.

Pro Subscription: Oru Pro is billed monthly at $49 per board. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: Platform fees are non-refundable. Pro subscription refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create on Oru. By posting content, you grant us a license to display, distribute, and promote your job board and its listings.

The Oru name, logo, and branding are trademarks of Oru. You may not use these without permission, except as required for your job board (e.g., "Powered by Oru" footer).

7. Privacy

Your use of Oru is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share information.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or harmful components

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oru shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
